BCAD Booster Club Meeting Minutes

Meeting called to order at 6:01pm

The meeting was called to order and the minutes from the May 7, 2026 meeting were reviewed.

Motion to Approve Previous Meeting Minutes

  • Motion carried.

Treasurer’s Report

  • Current Account Balance: $4,911.93
  • An additional $539.46 from the recital has not yet been deposited.
  • It was decided that the fundraising thermometer will be updated at each monthly meeting rather than after every individual fundraising event.

Unfinished Business

Dublin Day

  • The Nee Doh basket raffle idea was removed from consideration.
  • Amanda is having an easel refinished to accommodate a larger sign displaying pricing and event information.

Neshaminy Creek Event

  • Discussed offering both premium and regular raffles.
  • Discussed conducting a silent auction through Zeffy, with a volunteer available at the table to assist participants with the online bidding process.
  • A 50/50 raffle will also be offered.

Booster Club Merchandise

  • Different profit margins were reviewed for various booster club shirt options.
  • Becki discussed the possibility of producing shirts directly rather than using Printify.
  • Producing shirts in-house could increase profits by approximately $10 per shirt and provide sizing more consistent with common retail brands.
  • The possibility of listing merchandise on the booster club website is being explored.
  • Additional merchandise ideas include pajama pants, magnets, bags, and other spirit items.

Sports Raffle Ticket Sales

  • Discussed setting up staffed tables outside local sports-related businesses to sell sports raffle tickets.
  • Potential locations include Rally House, D-Bat, baseball card trading stores, Q-Mart, and similar venues.

Sports Raffle Prizes

  • Nee Doh baskets will be awarded as raffle prizes.
  • A pizza party was ruled out as a prize option.
  • Mini mochi squishies will be given to each child who participates.

Trivia Night

  • A check has been provided to Peggy at the community center to secure the venue for Trivia Night on September 12.
  • Planning is ongoing regarding trivia categories and round formats.

New Business

Adult Prom Night

  • Initial discussions were held regarding venue and DJ options.
  • Additional research and planning will continue.
