BCAD Booster Club Meeting Minutes

Meeting called to order at 6:16pm on 5/7/2026

Minutes from last meeting approved. Motion made by Sara Gerges. Seconded by Meghan Siporin. Unanimous approval.


Treasurer’s Report

  • Bank account has been opened. 
  • Current balance: $883.11. 
  • Reimbursements totaling $199.87 are currently being held.
    • Expenses included:
      • Art in the Park 
      • Raffles 
      • General expenses 
  • Future purchases will utilize a debit card. 
  • Treasurer’s Report approved unanimously.

Fundraising & Events

Dublin Day

  • Plans include:
    • Soft pretzels 
    • Ice 
    • Table setup along the front 
    • Larger signs and easel display 

Branch Creek Event

  • Discussed:
    • Sponsorship sign 
    • Balloons 
    • Gift baskets 
    • Girls wearing performance jerseys 
    • Balloon arch 
    • Assistance with 50/50 and raffle sales 
  • Raffle pricing:
    • 50/50 tickets: $5 
    • Raffle tickets:
      • 1 for $5 
      • 3 for $10 
      • Arm-length for $20 
  • Branch Creek flyers available in Google Drive. 
  • Volunteers should arrive at 3:00 PM for setup. 
  • Denise will handle Menlo and lottery tickets. 

Art in the Park

  • Profit reported: $196.55. 
  • Fundraiser updates should be provided after each event. 

Recital Planning

  • Bouquets to be picked up from Produce Junction Saturday morning. 
  • Papers needed for flowers. 
  • Approximately 500 candy bars needed.
    • Estimated cost: $430.78. 
  • Concession planning will depend on ticket sale numbers. 
  • A post-recital survey will be distributed to gather ideas for next year. 

Owowcow Fundraiser

  • Amanda coordinating celebrity scooper schedule. 
  • One scooper at a time. 
  • Volunteer schedule:
    • Four 1-hour slots 
    • Eight 30-minute slots 
  • Volunteers include:
    • Francesca 
    • Dana 
    • McKenzie 
    • Rick 

Administrative Updates

  • Zeffy account has been set up. 
  • Need to establish an Amazon Business Account.

Trivia Night Fundraiser

  • Planned for September 12, 2026 at the Pennridge Community Center. 
  • Rental agreement was printed and reviewed. 
  • Venue representative is currently on vacation. 
  • Event details:
    • Time: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM 
    • Access to venue begins 2 hours prior to event. 
    • 30 minutes allotted for cleanup afterward. 
    • BYOB and food permitted. 
  • Ticket pricing:
    • $40 per person 
    • $350 per table (round tables seating 10) 
    • VIP tables estimated at approximately $400 
  • Venue costs:
    • $600 rental fee 
    • $350 security deposit (refundable) 
    • Payment due in August 
  • Ticket sales scheduled to begin in June.

Skate Night

  • “Mommy and Me” paint night planned for sometime in December.

Marketing & Social Media

  • Increase social media activity:
    • Multiple Facebook posts daily 
    • Two Instagram posts daily 
  • Begin promoting:
    • Sports raffle 
    • Photography mini sessions 
  • Jasmine will assist with social media efforts. 
  • Discussed conducting interviews with children going to Disney.
